Her aim is to promote the joy of reading amongst people in rural areas by providing equal and sufficient reading opportunities through their library services, with a special interest in children with disabilities. She plans to concentrate on 4 villages 2 weeks in each one, 6 times a year. The books would be normal ones, as well as Braille, Audio, Tactile maps and with Tactile pictures. [...]

Child Rescue Mission

Child Rescue Mission has been legally registered with the Government of Sierra Leone in June, 2009. Sahr has secured 12.7 acres of land for the construction of the Rescue Mission in Kailahun District, East of Sierra Leone with all approved documentation for the land from the Government of Sierra Leone. Jane Wethera has established the New Light Resource Center in Kenya focusing on the unjust slaughtering of Albinos for superstitious beliefs. SEED, Supporting Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Sierra Leone

Mohamed Salia has registered the organization SEED-SL in Sierra Leone with the intent of empowering victims of war by providing micro finance; help with agricultural projects, and looking after orphans. He has already succeeded tremendously in getting microfinance for a 100 war widows and other young people by a donor in Germany, starting a 5 acre rice plantation [...]
