Come on a journey around the world.
We take you to sunny Kerala, a village in Kenya and the mountains of Peru – all this without leaving your living room. Enjoy traditional music from four continents: Africa, South America, Europe and Asia. But you will not visit only countries, you will get to know sources of social change. Every musician contributing to this CD promotes positive social change in his country. The artists are mostly former or present participants of the International Institute for Social Entrepreneurs (IISE) who are in the planning or start up phase of a social project. Others are staff of IISE who play an important role in supporting participants for newly established projects of present or former participants of IISE. Here you can read more about the projects of the contributors to this CD.
The Singers of Change
The artists contributing to this CD are all somehow connected to the International Institute for Social Entrepreneurs (IISE). Most of them are participants of the IISE course 2009, 2010 or the present batch 2011. All participants of IISE are committed and motivated to make a positive change in their communities after going back to their home countries. Some of the musicians are catalysts or staff members who support the progress of participants towards achieving their goal of starting up a social project. Here is a short presentation of the Voices of IISE. More detailed information with project descriptions will follow soon.
